Before the festive collection goes online, we are showing it in person for one evening, with the people who made it in the room.
The collection
Nineteen pieces, built around a palette of marigold, deep rust, ivory and a green we spent most of the winter arguing about. Lighter surface work than last season, concentrated at the yoke and border, on chanderi and silk organza.
Live aari demonstration
Two of our karigars will be working at the frame through the evening. This is genuinely the best way to understand why a piece takes the weeks it takes. Watching a single motif take shape does more than any amount of explanation from us.
Ordering on the night
Everything shown is available to order, with measurements taken on site. Pieces ordered at the preview go into production ahead of the general release, which matters if you have a date in the calendar.
Details
- Entry by invitation. Write to us and we will add you to the list.
- Refreshments from seven.
- Demonstrations run continuously; come at any point.
If you have been curious about how the embroidery is actually done, this is the evening to come to.
