Nothing in the studio is made before it is ordered. That single fact shapes everything else, from the wait to the fit to the reason we ask for so many measurements.
The timeline
Most pieces take three to five weeks. Heavily embroidered and bridal pieces take six to eight. The variable is almost never the stitching; it is the surface work, which is done by hand and cannot be parallelised past a point.
- Days 1–3: order confirmed, measurements reviewed, fabric cut.
- Weeks 1–4: embroidery, if the piece has it.
- Final week: construction, finishing, pressing, quality check.
- Dispatch: with tracking, once it has passed the check.
Measurements
We ask for body measurements, not garment measurements. Measure over light clothing, keep the tape level and snug without pulling, and have someone else take them if you can. Self-measured backs are almost always wrong by an inch.

What can change, and when
Colour, size and minor length adjustments can be changed within 48 hours of ordering. After that the fabric has been cut, and a cut cannot be uncut. Embroidery placement and motif density are fixed at the point of order.
Alterations after delivery
One round of alteration is included. Send the piece back within fourteen days with a note on what needs changing and we will correct and return it. Beyond that we still help, at cost.
Why we work this way
Made to order means we hold no dead stock, cut no fabric speculatively, and produce nothing that ends up discounted at the end of a season. It costs us time and it costs you patience. In exchange, the piece that arrives was made for one person.
